Overview

Marijuana contains over 113 different chemical compounds known as cannabinoids.  The two most well known cannabinoids are THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) and CBD (Cannabidiol).  THC is associated with psychoactive affects, while CBD non-psychoactive properties.  CBD Oil has been associated with medical benefits without the common high of marijuana.  

Learning Outcome

Participants will be able to identify the medical benefits associated with Cannabidiol (CBD) oil and precautions of use.

  Speaker

Dr. Merrily Kuhn is one of the nation’s most popular lecturers in continuing education.  An outstanding, knowledgeable and humorous speaker, she presents key discoveries from medicine and complementary medicine in clear and practical terms.

This continuing nursing education activity is approved by the Northeast Multi-State Division, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
